This course, modeled after training created by past UIA Fellow Alex Aljets from Oregon State University, provides all you need to learn process mapping and put your skills to work.
With the Process Mapping Course, you’ll get a full year of Lab access: meaningful connections and relevant, actionable resources.
In your cohort, you’ll join up to 15 higher ed professionals for six weeks, learning how to:
- Create six types of process maps.
- Select an appropriate process map for a specific situation.
- Execute the steps of process mapping: prepare, create, analyze, and redesign.
- Facilitate process mapping with a team.
- Overcome common roadblocks to implementing a process change.
You’ll work through the course and workbooks on your own for 1-2 hours per week. You’ll meet virtually with a facilitator and cohort once a week to discuss your work.
Dates and Times: Thursdays, 1:00pm- 1:45pm ET, June 20 – August 8 (no sessions July 4, Aug 1)
